Focus On Cumberland County Animal Safety was founded in 1995 by a group of community members who recognized the need for a local organization dedicated to helping homeless individuals. Since then, we have grown into a thriving nonprofit, serving hundreds of individuals each year.
Our mission is to inspire our community to cultivate the values of kind, compassionate, responsible, and humane care of the county’s animals, including stray, feral, and owned, through education and community-based programs, and to prevent animal cruelty wherever we find it.
